World_Handwashing_Day_Celebration_Mwanga!

On 15^th October, 2017 we celebrated World Handwashing Day at Lwami Primary School by and doing the following:

• Involving pupils from Kiruru and Lwami Primary schools.
• Involving community members including parents of the pupils.
• Sensitizing community on good hand washing methods/practices.
• Line demonstration by pupils.
• Songs and Poems by the pupils used to send massage to the community.
• We had an entertainments, music/dancing, soda, water and biscuits.
• We used Mass Media Representative from ITV Tanzania.
• Rotarian talk about Rotary (Who we are and what are we doing) to the community.
• The guest of honour was District Water Engineers who represent District Executive Director.
• Ward as well as village and hamlets leaders attended.
• Rotary of Mwanga officiate special box for fund raising.
